CMS, China hosts master class with World-famous English National Ballet as part of 'Ballet Meets Business' cultural exchange

September 7, 2010 - CMS, China, the China arm of CMS, one of Europe's largest legal and tax providers, today hosted English National Ballet in Shanghai for its first ever Ballet Meets Business master class in China. The performance of the Act II pas de deux from Giselle was an exclusive master class from England's most prestigious ballet company. The performance is part of increasing cultural exchanges between China and Europe.

The distinguished audience at Shanghai's Radisson Xing Guo Plaza Hotel took part in an interactive session led by English National Ballet's Reptiteur Stephen Beagley and Communications Director Louise Halliday, who highlighted how to achieve excellence in business by drawing lessons from ballet. Said Halliday: "In ballet, success comes through specialising - becoming an expert and the best in your field - then dedicating yourself to maintaining excellence.  It's the same in business."

"CMS is one of the few global legal and tax service providers in China that offers our clients experts in all the areas in which we specialise" said Dr Ulrike Glueck, Senior Partner  of CMS, China. "CMS has a close relationship with English National Ballet, whose members are also fully dedicated to their area of expertise, and as such are among the best in the world.
