Samuel Yang, LL.M.

Samuel has worked in private practice and in-house roles in the telecommunications and broader IT industry for more than seven years and has extensive experience in these areas. He advises on regulatory matters and a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions. Before he joined CMS, China, he was a North East Asia Counsel of a global telecommunications carrier with a special focus on China.

Sam’s recent work includes advising a major US chemical company on establishing its know-how protection regime in China, and advising a world’s leading digital security company on its privacy policy and product and service contracts. He is also managing the overall legal matters in China for a global telecommunications carrier.

Sam received his LL.B. from the Dalian Maritime University and his LL.M. from the Law School of the University of International Business and Economics.

Sam speaks Mandarin and English.
